Challenge registration fees are pooled together to create a cash award pot to payout to the top 3 weight losers (after minimal operational costs).  After the Challenge the payout pot money is awarded to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd highest percentage of weight loss.  So the bigger the Challenger group the bigger the payout pot!
